"So far I have approximately 6000 km on my R-S2s. I'm running 225/45-15s in the front and 224/50-15s in the rear on a V8 powered 1990 Mazda Miata.
Major points:
1. stick like glue (on a dry road)!
2. not a great rain tire
3. these tires do not like cold weather
4. fairly quiet
5. wearing quickly (expected)
Overall, an awesome street/track tire." - Ron of Chilliwack, B.C. on October 07, 2007
"I think I already wrote a review on these when I got them during the summer... they stick like GLUE, the dry grip is absolutely incredible, it's like you're driving on velcro. You won't find another tire in this price range that can compete. In the rain they are above average, hydroplaning is non-existant, but grip is down. Cornering grip in wet is still fairly good though. These are on my Skyline.
***However***, for even a little bit of snow, or some ice, and negative temperatures, you WILL get stranded. I got trapped where I parked at the side of the street away from home because of an unexpected snow storm, and there wasn't enough grip to overcome the tiny slope the road has to drain water towards the curb! Once I managed to get out, there was absolutely no traction whatsoever. none at all. expect to not be able to brake or corner even if you get it moving at like 5km/h, because i couldn't. these are suicidal in the snow." - Seven of Vancouver, BC on November 26, 2006
